This multifunctional spectrofluorimeter is based on double grating monochromators in both excitation and emission paths. Instead of Glan prisms, usually used in anisotropy measurements, Wollaston prisms were applied. This results in a large increase of light throughput, which significantly increases the sensivity. Luminescence measurements of various sample types are possible, in a wide and precisely controlled temperature range.
